United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc has issued a statement to clear the air concerning false, fake and malicious media speculations linking the bank to the recently failed coup in far away Turkey.
UBA’s Head of Communications, Charles Aigbe signed this official statement from the bank:
“UBA is aware of the on-going and spurious media speculation linking our institution to recent events in Turkey. In light of this we believe it is necessary to categorically state that UBA has no involvement in or connection to these accusations, which are clearly false.
