It appears there may be boardroom intrigue as well as power play at the moment is Heritage Bank. and it does seem to suggest that all may not be well with the MD of Heritage bank, Ifie sekibo as information filtering out suggest that a silent but very powerful power play may be already going on in Heritage bank.
Our Informants reveal that, though, Mary Apkobome is the MD of Enterprise bank, but that the woman is powerfully connected to the Saraki family & that the enterprise MD is actually taking full advantage of this connection.
Though Ifie Sekibo is the MD of Heritage bank, the power and influence of Mary Apkobome is making the Heritage bank MD uncomfortable and uneasy too.
In fact, Apkobome may already be running the show indirectly by dishing out,” advice” to Ifie Sekibo which Sekibo is bound to carry out.
The intrigue is on and very powerful, and it is alleged Ifie Sekibo may not last very long as MD of Heritage.
Heritage Bank commenced banking operations in 2013, March 2013 to be precise. The deposit money bank was formed from the defunct Societe Generale Bank of Nigeria (SGBN) and was granted a regional banking licence by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
