Things are not looking for Gov Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State as he seeks re-election. It is a glaring fact that the people of Ogun State are tired of the man and showing signs of wanting the APC out of power in Ogun State. The wife of the governor went out to campaign for the re-election of the governor. She was very well dressed, her security was very tight and she appeared prepared for the business of the day, but behold, she got the shockers of her life as she was given an unpalatable reception on getting to the market.
With one voice and with great determination, not fearing the security of the governor’s wife, the market women of Sango descended on the governor’s wife with torrents of abuses and curses as they made their disdain for the Amosun’s administration known to the governor’s wife.
As things stand at the moment, it may be very difficult for Amosun to get re-elected as all over the state, people are expressing anger and unhappiness against Gov Amosun’s administration.
Teachers are also said to be currently on strike in the state as students have been directed to stay at home and watch television until further notice.
