The board and management of the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) has extended their warm wishes to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his 68th birthday. This was revealed by a statement from the office of the Chief Medical Director, Professor Adetokunbo O. Fabamwo.
Professor Fabamwo said, “All of us at LASUTH wish to celebrate a special person, a man of the people, an icon of democracy and a true elder statesman, a happy birthday.”
According to him, “We recall your highly supportive role, in the start off of our teaching hospital which has now become the fastest growing in sub Sahara Africa.”
The CMD noted that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is are a treasure to humanity, and we seize this unique moment to let you know hiw much we appreciate your contributions to our world.

It would be recalled that it was during the administration of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu that the Lagos State Government formally converted the Ikeja General Hospital to the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital in July 2001.
