As things stand at the moment, elections may be extended into Sunday in areas where necessary so as to allow people to cast their votes. This window of extension is particularly for areas with confirmed problems of accreditation and any other voting problem.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has thus directed all Resident Electoral Commissioners in the country to conduct election on Sunday in areas where there were hitches.
It said it has also relocated all the contents on its website to another site following hacking by some elements. It however said it could not still exactly say what went wrong in Otuoke, Bayelsa State which led to the delay in the accreditation of President Goodluck Jonathan and First Lady Dame Patience Jonathan.
