Chairman of Etisalat Nigeria Limited, Hakeem Bello-Osagie, has resigned his position.
Hakeem Bello-Osagie’s resignation followed the withdrawal of Emirates Telecommunications Group Company, the company’s major shareholder, about a fortnight ago.
Hakeem Bello-Osagie was the surviving shareholder in Etisalat, which is currently battling a huge loan repayment crisis with about 13 Nigerian banks.
His resignation is with immediate effect.
