FCMB Group Plc said on Thursday its nine-months profit after tax (PAT) for the period ended September 30, 2016 rose 30.6 percent to N12.98 billion from N9.94 billion recorded a year ago.
Profit before tax (PBT) also grew 19.4 percent to N14.17 billion from N11.87 billion in the corresponding period of 2015.
Gross earnings of FCMB increased from N116.26 billion to N140.72 billion in the review period of 2016; indicating a rise of 21.0 percent, the financial HoldCo said in a filing with the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).Shares of FCMB at the close of Thursday’s session on the Nigerian bourse gained 1.94 percent to N1.05 from N1.03 recorded the previous day; gaining 0.02 kobo per share.
