Ecobank Transnational Incorporated, ETI, the Lome-based parent company of the Ecobank Group announces the appointment of Paul-Harry Aithnard as the Managing Director of its affiliate Ecobank Côte d’Ivoire and Regional Executive, UEMOA, designate.
Paul-Harry Aithnard was Group Head, Securities, Wealth & Asset Management.
This appointment was effected following an internal recruitment process initiated to replace Charles Daboiko, current Managing Director of Ecobank Côte d’Ivoire and Regional Executive of UEMOA, who will be retiring from the Bank in November 2018.
Charles Daboiko will continue to lead Ecobank Côte d’Ivoire and UEMOA region until his retirement in November 2018.
Paul-Harry Aithnard has 20 years working experience. He joined Ecobank Transnational Incorporated in 2008 as Group Head Research. Prior to joining Ecobank, he was Global Head Commodities, Co-Head Global Macro Investment Advisory in BBSP Investment Advisory, Paris-London; General Manager, Deputy Managing Director, BBSP Investment Advisory, Montreal-New York; and Lecturer, MBA (Master in Business Administration) & BBA (Bachelor in Business Administration) at HEC Business School of Montreal.
Paul-Harry Aithnard holds a Master degree in Finance from HEC Business School of Montreal, a Post-Graduate Degree of Business Administration from the same Business School and a Master degree in History from University Paris IV (Sorbonne).
