Dangote Cement Plc has reported a profit after tax of N133.420 billion for the third quarter ended September 30, 2016 from N157.993 billion posted in 2015 representing drop 15.48 per cent.
The group in a filing with the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) also reported a profit before tax of N148.716 billion in 2016 as against N166.914 billion posted a year earlier accounting for a drop of 10.90 per cent.

Its profit before tax of N124.890 billion in 2016 as against N128.726 billion posted a year earlier.
Revenue stood at N292.191 billion as against N242.215 recorded in 2015, indicating a growth of 20.63 per cent. Dangote Cement reported a profit after tax of N52.779 billion for the first quarter ended March 31, 2016 from N68.620 billion posted in 2015. Its profit before tax stood at N54.539 billion in 2016 as against N70.168 billion posted a year earlier..Revenue stood at N442.092 billion as against N365.450 recorded in 2015, indicating a growth of 20.97 per cent.The group reported a profit after tax of N103.420 billion for the second quarter ended June 30, 2016 from N121.808 billion postedin 2015 representing drop 15.09 per cent.
