Premier league club, Manchester United, has signed a deal with Nigerian fruit beverage company, Chi Limited, to become the club’s official soft drinks partner in Nigeria.
The multi-year deal allows Limited to use United’s crest and club imagery on their products in Nigeria.
The deal becomes the latest in a string of regional sponsorships which has allowed United to enter into another new market and further boost the financial muscle behind United which finally culminated in serious investment into the squad this summer.
United’s corporate arm seems to know no bounds. In the past two months alone, United have agreed no less than seven separate deals, new and existing, that will all bring in extra revenue to the club.
