Information reaching us reveals that all Group Executive Directors of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, have been reportedly sacked with immediate effect. It is also interesting to note that, this is happening barely a day after President Buhari appointed Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu as the Group Managing Director of the NNPC. All the affected Group Executive Directors, GEDs were appointed by former President Goodluck Jonathan in March 2014.
The Group Executive Directors who were reportedly fired, are Mr. Ian Udoh in charge of Refining and Petrochemicals, Mr. Adebayo Ibirogba in charge of the Engineering and Technical team, Dr. David Ige, in charge of Gas and Power, Dr. Attahir Yusuf, in charge of Business Development; Dr. Dan Efebo, in charge of Corporate Services, Mr. Bernard Otti, in charge of Finance and Accounts and Ms. Aisha Abdurrahman, in charge of Commerce and Investments.
