In a tweet on Saturday night, Dino Melaye, senator representing Kogi west, mocked and taunted the All Progressives Congress (APC) over the outcome of the state congresses.
The Congresses, which held on Saturday, was marred by irregularities and in some cases violence as parallel congresses held in over seven states while suspected thugs broke into some venues and chased out party members and delegates.
In his tweet, Senator Dino Melaye mocked and said, APC was blessed for electing 72 chairmen ,or leaders, meaning that each state elected two or double chairmen. Melaye declared, “everything na double double. What a blessed party!!!”
