The season has just started, only one premiership match played by all the teams so far, the second premiership matches are set to be play this weekend and yet its beginning to get heated…this season’s premiership war has just started.
Chelsea lost their opening match at home against a weak premiership side with 9 men haven seen two of their players send off.
This weekend they face a strong side, Tottenham Hotspur. Tottenham picked all three points last week.
All the top premiership teams picked all three points in their opening matches with the exception of Chelsea who lost at home, and Liverpool who drew.
Manchester City, Asernal and Manchester United all bagged precious three points.
Jose Mourinho’s men were the dominant team last weekend with world class performance against West Ham. Man United seem to be sending a clear message to other title contenders to watch out for them this season. Mourinho’s men literally demolished West Ham 4-0.
New boy Romelu Lukaku, Anthony Martial and golden boy Pogba were all on the score sheet.
And the premiership war continues this weekend. Will the defending champion, Chelsea, be able to hold their own against Tottenham Hotspur? Will Manchester United repeat what they did last weekend again today? Will Manchester City and Liverpool come good? And will they gunners put up a strong showing again?
