Two customers of Access Bank Plc won one Hyundai i10 car each as star price in a draw for the Access Bank Money Gram/Western Union Mega promo.
In a joint draw held in Lagos on Wednesday, Mr. Ajayi Bamidele, a customer of Ikorodu branch, emerged the star price winner in the Money Gram draw and his loyalty with the bank was rewarded with a brand new Hyundai i10 car. Other items won in the promo were four motorbikes, 20 LED television sets, 20 DVD players and 80 Blenders, as consolation prices. A total of 420 customers qualified for the promo.
On the other hand, in the Western Union draw, Patience Ndidi Emeh, of Azikiwe Road Branch, Port Harcourt, equally won for herself, a Hyundai i10 brand new car, as the star price winner. Consolation prices of 10 LED Television sets, 10 DVD Players and 40 Blenders, were won as well. A total of 95 eligible customers contested for the promo Western Union promo.
“The remittance service is still vibrant and viable because people still take care of family members, friends and invest at home even as they live abroad. And therefore, it’s an interrelation activity that banks want to be involved in. But what we want to do is to draw more recipients to Access Bank to receive their funds for their love ones, and we put incentives around it.
“And we think that the incentives have helped increasing the volume of activities that we get. Today is a day to redeem our pledge to whoever meets certain criteria and reward those who have have done well with us as our customers,” he added.
